Meet Dr. Sage Yoo
Dr. Sage truly loves and enjoys being a dentist. He finds joy and is passionate in helping kids smile brighter. His patients love the way he is able to help them feel comfortable, as dentist visits can be intimidating. Dr. Sage believes that not all treatment plans are one-size-fits-all, he believes that listening to the family’s priorities and needs are essential in providing quality and meaningful dental care. He also thinks pediatric dentists have much more fun on a daily basis than their general counterparts. He is excited to meet and help your family with all your dental care needs.

Why Did you become a pediatric dentist?
Being a dentist was not Dr. Sage’s first calling; he has had the opportunity to excel in other careers before becoming a dentist. He studied electrical engineering in college and then worked as a mortgage banker before making the switch to his true passion!
Growing up in Korea, Dr. Sage remembers everyone being able to access quality dental care. Once he and his family moved to the states, he was not able to take advantage of quality care they been used to due to the lack of proper health insurance. He still believed that everyone should be able to access the health and dental care that they need and be able to have access to caring and considerate doctors. He chose to make a career change that would make a lasting impact on people’s lives. Dr. Sage’s experiences have helped him shape his perspectives and provide a strong sense of responsibility to advocate for compassionate and quality care for his patients.
While in dental school, he knew instantly he would study and specialize in pediatrics. He is a natural with children and families, he loves to help his patients feel at ease. He cherishes the work he does now with helping kids obtain their best smiles and excellent oral health, it truly is his dream job!

Fun Facts About Dr. Sage
What does Dr. Sage do in his spare time?
Dr. Sage loves playing golf. He is continuously taking lessons and working to improve his technical skill. Dr. Sage also loves working on the landscaping around his home. He finds the process of tending to his own lawn and taking care of all the plants therapeutic.
Does Dr. Sage have pets?
Dr. Sage has a dog named Lucky. Lucky is a Sheltie and looks like a mini Lassie! He also has welcomed six chickens into his family this year. They love to peck and roam all around the backyard.
Did you know?
Dr. Sage used to train dogs! He trained his dog, Lucky in dog agility- where dogs navigate and race through an obstacle course.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Sage has enjoyed living in the Dallas area since he moved here from Boston in 2015. He and his wife Heather have a daughter named Genevieve and are expecting another little one on the way! They share their home with six chickens and their dog Lucky, who is smart enough to brush his own teeth. Whenever he’s not busy at work, he spends quality time with his loved ones, plays golf and works around the house. They recently moved to a ranch house, and he really enjoys tending to his lawn around the property
